This adventure began in the lively city of Toronto, Canada, where Gene was born into a world of new beginnings, following his parents' brave journey from the Philippines. Growing up under the canopy of the maple leaf, his family quickly traded snow for sunshine, setting sail to Florida when he was at the tender age of 5, where he would plant his roots and flourish.

Gene navigated through the twists and turns of life with the spirit of a true explorer. From the halls of the Florida Institute of Technology, where he electrified his path with a degree in Electrical Engineering, to the esteemed University of Florida, where he mastered the art of business with an MBA. Not just a man of intellect, Gene, alongside his high school companion, Carl "Sparky" Peterson, embarked on the entrepreneurial voyage of “Launch That,” a testament to friendship and innovation.
Beyond the accolades and achievements, Gene’s heart beats in harmony with his beautiful family of 21 years and his three incredible children (19, 17, and 12). A man of many talents, Gene juggles his passions for music, snowboarding, wakesurfing, and various sports with effortless grace. When not pioneering in the business world or carving down snow-covered mountains across the world, he's perfecting his golf swing, staying fit, and being the number one fan at his kids' activities.
